The Statistics Programme like other academic department of the Centre was established to conduct academic activities targeted at professionals and graduates of Statistics in Nigeria by organizing Courses, Workshops, Conferences, etc. in core areas with the help of distinguished scholars as resource persons.
These  academic activities are conducted to provide platform for participants to interact and share ideas in contemporary challenges in the field. It is also the goal of the programme to make available to the stakeholders necessary research materials and publications in the field to encourage individual and collective research project.
